    What is the difference between a 2 position, 3 position, and infinite position lift chair?

    Answer

    Two-position chairs recline from the upright position to the TV-watching position and anywhere in between. Three-position chairs recline further back to a napping position. Infinite-position chairs recline even further back for sleeping, and many of them can recline to a full Trendelenburg position. Infinite position chairs also have separate controls so that the back and the footrest can be operated independently, so that, for example, you can be seated upright and put your feet up, or fully recline the back and leave your legs down.     Answer

    In this case, you have two options. The easiest option is to arrange to have another person available on the delivery day so that he or she can help the truck driver get the box up the steps and into your home. Your other option would be to order premium delivery service, which typically costs between $200.00 and $400.00, depending on the lift chair you choose.     What exactly does your premium delivery service for lift chairs entail?

    Answer

    If you opt to purchase premium delivery service, two delivery people will come to your home with the chair, take it out of the box, place it where you want it up or down one flight of stairs, and make sure it works. They''ll also dispose of the packaging in which the chair was shipped.

    What sort of warranty coverage is included in the price of your lift chairs?

    Answer

    All of our new lift chairs come with a 1-year in-home parts and service warranty. The manufacturer warranty which is included in the sale price often covers parts for a period longer than one year; however, if anything breaks after the first year, you'll be responsible for service call charges. It typically costs $75.00 just for a technician to come to your door. However, we can increase the duration of our 1-year in-home warranty to a coverage period of 2 years for just $66.00, or to 3 years of coverage for only $116.00. (Pricing subject to change.)

    How long will it take for my chair to be built if I choose non-standard fabrics or options?

    Answer

    Standard build time for lift chairs is 10-12 days, although some custom chairs take up to 6 weeks for certain options, such as Ultraleather upholstery. When you call to place your order, the sales representative who assists you will be able to give you a more accurate estimate of build time based on current demand and order volume.

    What if I find a better price on the lift chair I want through another dealer locally or online?

    Answer

    If you're concerned about paying too much, rest assured that we offer lower prices than anyone, and, with our Low Price Guarantee, you can keep shopping for 10 days - even after you've already bought from us. If you do find a lower price during that time frame, either at a brick-and-mortar store or online, we'll refund 110% of the difference.

    What is your return policy for lift chair sales?

    Answer

    We've sold several thousand lift chairs since we have been in business, and our lift chair experts are very good at assisting customers in finding the right lift chair for their needs.  In addition, we are constantly examining our customer service techniques in order to make sure that every customer is satisfied and that returns are kept to a minimum.  If, for some reason, you are not completely satisfied with your chair, you have 10 days to send it back. There is a 15% restocking fee in addition to the freight charges for both directions. Although that may seem steep, we do have very few returns, and this policy enables us to continue offering our customers the lowest price possible.  For more information, please visit our returns page.

    I don't want to pay by credit card. Do you accept any other payment methods?

    Answer

    We also accept personal checks, money orders, bank checks, and debit cards. If you pay by personal check, we will process your order as soon as your check clears (usually within 7-10 days). If you pay by bank check, we will process the order as soon as we receive the check.

    Can I use my debit card to pay for my order?

    Answer

    Yes, that's no problem. However, many debit cards have a daily purchase or withdrawal limit placed on them by the bank that issued the card. You can call your bank to obtain pre-approval for an over-limit charge, or we can break the charges up over multiple days. We recommend placing debit card orders via telephone to ensure that we have the right contact information needed to follow up with you if we encounter a problem processing your order.

    How much is delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico?

    Answer

    It usually costs about $250.00 to deliver to Alaska, $400.00 to deliver to Hawaii, and $500.00 to deliver to Puerto Rico. Some of your delivery options may also be limited depending on the size of the town you live in.

    Do you ship lift chairs to Canada?

    Answer

    We can ship NexIdea brand lift chairs to Canada. If you would like a Pride or Golden lift chair, we can ship to a border town and you can come and pick it up. In many cases, a UPS store or other shipping outlet can hold the chair for you.

    What days are you open for sales?

    We are open 7 days a week from 9am-9pm EST to answer your questions and take your order.  Online orders may be placed at any time, of course.
